Fixing Common Morphing Problems

Morph Menu Will Not Open

If pressing the morph keybind does nothing, the key may be unbound or conflicting with another mod. Go to Options, then Controls, and look for the morph category. Rebind it to a free key. If the menu still refuses to appear, make sure the mod is actually loaded on your client — check the mods list on the title screen.

Morphs Are Not Being Unlocked

When killing a mob does not add it to your list, the usual cause is that something else dealt the final damage. Environmental deaths, other mobs, or another player's hit will not count for you. Kill the mob yourself with a direct attack and watch for the unlock confirmation. Also verify the mob is one the mod supports.

Abilities Not Working

If you morphed but gained no powers, confirm you selected the morph rather than just unlocking it — you must actively wear the form. Some abilities only trigger in the right environment, such as swimming abilities only functioning in water. If a keybind-based ability fails, rebind its key as described above.

Multiplayer Desync

On servers, appearance changes are synced to other players. If others see you as your normal self while you see a mob, the server may be missing the mod or running a mismatched setup. Ask the server owner to confirm the mod is installed server-side.
