Culling can occasionally hide a face you actually wanted to see. If blocks look hollow, transparent from the wrong angle, or you can see through terrain, a culling toggle is the cause.
Diagnosing the Glitch
1. Note which blocks look wrong and from which direction. Seeing through the bottom of a block points to bottom culling; seeing through the top points to top culling.
2. Check whether the affected blocks are bedrock. If so, bedrock side culling is the culprit.
3. Confirm the dimension — Bocchium applies culling per-dimension, so a glitch in one dimension may not appear in another.
Fixing It
Open the config and disable the specific culling option responsible. You do not need to turn off the whole mod. For example, if only floating builds look wrong, disable bottom culling and keep top culling and bedrock culling enabled.
Reloading
Save the config, then force chunks to rebuild by leaving and re-entering the area or adjusting render distance. The glitch should disappear immediately after the rebuild.
When to Keep Culling On
If the glitch only appears in areas players never see, such as the world floor, you can safely leave culling enabled and ignore it. Only disable a toggle when the hidden face is actually visible in normal gameplay.
