Control Foliage Sway and Wind Effects

Accessing Foliage Settings

Open your shader configuration menu during gameplay. Navigate to the animation or foliage section where wind and movement parameters are grouped.

Adjusting Leaf and Plant Movement

Bad PC Shaders includes options to control how much trees and plants sway. If the movement feels too aggressive or distracting, lower the wind intensity or sway speed value. For a more dynamic, alive-feeling forest, increase these settings.

The effect applies to leaves, tall grass, flowers, and hanging vines. Test changes in different biomes—dense forests show the effect more noticeably than sparse areas.

Performance Consideration

Even on low-end systems, foliage sway remains lightweight. However, if you're targeting absolute maximum performance, you can disable this feature entirely through a toggle option, though it's designed to have minimal impact on frame rates.
