See Hunger Status Effects on Your Apple Bar
Identify Status Effect Colors
When you receive a hunger-related status effect (such as Hunger from a cave spider or similar source), your apple hunger bar changes color to indicate the effect is active. The apples will shift from their normal red appearance to a different hue—typically green—making it immediately obvious that your hunger is being affected.
Monitor Your Hunger During Effects
While under a hunger effect, keep an eye on your apple bar. The color change serves as a visual warning that your hunger will deplete faster than normal or behave differently. This helps you plan when to eat food or seek shelter. Once the effect wears off, your apples return to their standard red color, confirming the status effect has ended.
