Setting Up Your City
To establish a city, use the faction creation command in chat. You'll need to choose a unique city name that represents your group. Once created, your faction becomes the legal entity that can claim land.
Claiming Land
Navigate to the chunk you want to claim. Use the city claim command to add that chunk to your faction's territory. Each claim costs prestige points, which you earn through player activity like mining, building, and combat. The more members active in your city, the faster you accumulate prestige for expansions.
You can claim multiple adjacent chunks to form a larger city area. Plan your claims strategically—contiguous territory is easier to defend and manage. Once claimed, only faction members can build or break blocks within your city borders. Non-members cannot interact with your structures or resources.
Managing Your Territory
Use faction commands to view your current claims on the map. If you need to unclaim a chunk, you can do so, though you won't recover the prestige spent. As your city grows, you'll need to maintain a steady prestige income to pay upkeep costs for each claimed chunk.
