Understanding Prestige

Prestige is the currency of city development. Your faction earns prestige through member activity—mining blocks, defeating mobs, crafting items, and participating in PvP. The more active your members are, the faster your prestige pool grows. Check your faction's prestige balance using the status command.

Spending Prestige

Prestige pays for claiming new chunks, which is the primary expense. Each chunk claim costs a set amount of prestige. You also spend prestige on city upkeep—maintaining claimed territory requires ongoing prestige payments. If your prestige drops too low, unclaimed chunks may be lost.

Maximizing Income

To grow your city efficiently, recruit active players who contribute to prestige generation. Assign members to resource-gathering roles or combat duties to accelerate prestige accumulation. Some activities yield more prestige than others—focus your faction on high-yield tasks.

Strategic Planning

Balance expansion with sustainability. Claiming too much territory too quickly can drain your prestige reserves, leaving you unable to pay upkeep. Plan your city layout and growth timeline based on your faction's prestige income rate.
