How do I start a new wildlife reserve?
Begin by capturing wild animals using creature cages or by holding Shift and right-clicking to carry them. Place them in an enclosed pen made of natural blocks, then open the ecology guide with V to see what habitat blocks each species needs to thrive.
What does ecological score do and how do I raise it?
Ecological score determines breeding rates for your animals—reaching above sixty unlocks full breeding potential. Raise it by placing the correct natural blocks inside each habitat (grass for grasslands, cacti for deserts, logs for forests, etc.) until the score climbs high enough.
Can I breed animals without reaching ecological score 60?
Animals will breed at reduced rates below an ecological score of sixty. To maximize breeding output and get the most offspring, you need to reach above sixty by completing the habitat requirements shown in the ecology guide.
How do I check what a specific animal needs in its habitat?
Press V to open the ecology guide, then search for or select your target animal to see its exact habitat requirements and preferred natural blocks.
What's the point of the Gene Analyzer and how do I use it?
The Gene Analyzer reveals the hidden genetic stats of parent animals (like speed, weight, and hunger resistance) so you can selectively breed animals with desirable traits. Right-click animals with the Gene Analyzer to inspect their genetics before breeding.
How do I make money from my animals?
Right-click mature animals with an empty hand to harvest their unique byproducts, then place a 
Trading Station to convert these items into gold coins. Different animals produce different valuable items.

Auto Feeder blocks to automatically dispense food and water to your animals, keeping them fed without manual effort. Place feeders inside your enclosures and stock them with appropriate food for herbivores or carnivores.

Security Camera block in your enclosure to monitor it remotely and quickly teleport to that location. This is useful for checking on distant reserves or multiple habitats at once.
