Craft a Structure Compass

Gather a compass and four bricks from your inventory or crafting supplies. Arrange them in your crafting table with the compass in the center and bricks filling the four adjacent slots. This creates a Structure Compass tuned to find man-made and generated structures.

Open the Structure Menu

Hold the Structure Compass in your main hand and right-click to open the target menu. You'll see a list of all structures available in your world—villages, temples, strongholds, and more depending on your world type and mod configuration.

Search and Track

If you're looking for a specific structure type, use the built-in search bar to filter the list. Select your target structure from the menu.

Follow to Your Destination

The compass needle now points directly toward the nearest instance of that structure. Use the on-screen overlay (toggle between bar and column display modes) to monitor your distance and direction. Travel in the direction the needle indicates until you reach the structure.
