Why do I start with only 6 health and hunger?
The mod intentionally reduces your starting survivability to increase early-game difficulty. Both health and hunger grow toward 20 points as you gain levels, rewarding progression and careful play.
How do I heal without food?
Health regenerates slowly on its own at 1 point every 960 ticks when you're not starving. Eating fruits and vegetables prevents malnutrition, which would otherwise slow this regeneration further.
What's the fastest way to get my first metal tool?
Gather wood and stone during the peaceful Blue Moon on Day 1, craft a 
Clay Furnace to cook food, then mine iron ore with your stone tools and smelt it in a Cobblestone Furnace using coal. This opens access to villages and higher crafting tiers.

Beds are intentionally disabled on these dangerous nights to force you to survive the heightened threats—Full Moons and Bloodmoons bring buffed mobs and harsh conditions that you must endure or prepare defenses for.
What happens if I keep dying to the Ender Dragon?
Each death permanently increases the Ender Dragon's base armor by 1 point, making it progressively harder to defeat. Plan your approach carefully and avoid unnecessary deaths before the final fight.
How do I smelt different ores if I only have a Cobblestone Furnace?
Progress through furnace tiers: Clay Furnaces cook food, Cobblestone Furnaces smelt basic ores with coal, Obsidian Furnaces smelt Mithril with a Lava Bucket, and Netherrack Furnaces smelt Adamantium with Blaze Rods. Each tier requires higher crafting benches to unlock.
What causes malnutrition and how do I fix it?
Malnutrition occurs when you don't eat fruits and vegetables regularly, causing faster hunger loss and slower health regeneration. Maintain a diet of produce to stay healthy and avoid this penalty.
Why are animals so hard to catch and kill?
Animals move faster, alert nearby herds when attacked, and use smarter pathfinding to escape. Plan ambushes carefully, separate targets from groups, or use terrain to your advantage.
How do I find villages if they're so far away?
Villages only generate after 10 in-game days and require you to have crafted a metal tool first. Use your compass (right-click to see coordinates) to explore systematically, or focus on self-sufficiency until villages become available.
Does sneaking actually help with mining and combat?
Yes—sneaking increases your reach distance while mining or fighting, making it a core survival tactic for gathering resources and dealing with threats more safely.
