The Behavior Change
Normally, Piglin Brutes attack you on sight no matter what you wear — gold armor does not pacify them the way it pacifies regular Piglins. The Trenzalore Mod changes this: if you are wearing a full set of gold armor, Piglin Brutes will not attack you. This lets you move through Bastion Remnants and other brute-heavy areas without being swarmed.
Getting the Full Set Together
You need gold armor in all four slots — helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots. Partial sets do not count, so a single gold helmet will not protect you.
1. Gather gold ingots (mine gold ore, loot Bastion chests, or trade with Piglins).
2. Craft each of the four armor pieces at a crafting table.
3. Equip all four pieces before entering an area with Brutes.
4. Walk past Brutes and confirm they do not aggro.
Important Cautions
- The protection only applies while the full set is worn. If a piece breaks or you remove one, Brutes will attack again.
- This does not make you immune to other threats — regular Piglins still have their own rules, and Brutes will still fight back if you attack them first.
- Keep spare gold armor in your inventory so you can re-equip quickly if a piece breaks mid-fight.
