Why You Keep Getting Random Art

Vanilla painting placement is random within the size that fits. The mod adds its real-world masterpieces to that same pool, so you cannot simply pick "Starry Night" from a menu in survival. You have to either cycle placements or use creative mode.

Cycling Until You Get the One You Want

1. Prepare a wall with the exact empty rectangle size the painting needs. Size determines which artworks are even eligible.

2. Place a painting, check it, and if it is wrong, break it and place again. Each placement re-rolls the selection.

3. Repeat until the desired piece appears. This is tedious but reliable in survival.

4. Keep a stack of paintings handy so you are not running back to a crafting table between attempts.

Using Creative Mode to Browse

1. Switch to creative mode and open the creative inventory.

2. Search the paintings tab or scroll to the mod's entries. Many mods expose each artwork as its own item here, letting you grab the exact piece.

3. Place it directly on your wall. This is the fastest way to preview the full catalog before committing in survival.

Matching Art to Space

Large masterpieces need large walls. If a painting refuses to appear, the wall is likely too small — widen and heighten the empty area and try again.
