Creating Your First Companion

1. Craft or spawn an empty helicopter

2. Equip a rocket or missile weapon

3. Shoot the unmanned helicopter once

4. The helicopter will become your AI companion and begin following you

Expanding Your Fleet

Repeat the process with additional helicopters to build a larger fleet. Your companions will automatically arrange themselves in formation around your helicopter. They match your movements and maintain position relative to you.

Commanding Your Fleet

Your AI companions fire their weapons when you do, targeting the same enemy. They use predictive aiming to lead moving targets, making them effective in combat. The fleet fights as a coordinated unit during dogfights.

Managing Companions

If you shoot your own companion 5 additional times after activation, it will turn hostile and initiate a dogfight. Be careful with friendly fire—keep your missile safety toggled on when near your fleet if you're not actively engaging enemies.
