How to Enter and Leave the Lost City Dimension

The Lost City is a separate dimension, so you need a portal to reach it rather than just walking far enough. Build the frame the same way you would for a Nether portal, then light it with the correct activation method for this mod.

Creating the portal

Construct a rectangular frame from the appropriate portal blocks (the mod provides its own portal block type). Once the frame is complete, activate the portal interior. A swirling portal surface should appear. Step in to be transported to the Lost City.

Getting back safely

Keep track of your portal's coordinates on the overworld side before you leave. On the Lost City side, a matching portal is generated so you can return. If you lose it, you can build a new frame and light it to travel back, but you may not land at your original base.

Practical tips

• Bring a bed or note your coordinates so you can find your way back.
• The dimension is dangerous on arrival, so clear the immediate area before exploring.
• Portals work from both directions, so you can set up a forward base near the city portal and shuttle supplies through.
