Craft a medical bandage using paper and wool, then hold right-click for exactly 2 seconds while holding it in your hand. Milk will not cure bleeding like it does other effects, so bandages are your only option.

Taking physical damage gives you a 5% chance to begin bleeding. Not every hit will cause it, so you may take several hits before the effect triggers.

Bleeding lasts for 10 seconds and continuously drains your health during that time. You need to apply a bandage before those 10 seconds are up, or you'll keep losing hearts.
