Sovereign Conquest FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I start a faction?
Press K to open the faction menu, then select the option to create a new faction. You'll name your group, choose an acronym (usually 3-4 letters), and pick a team color that displays on the map and in chat.
What's the difference between a Team, Colony, and Country?
These are faction tiers that unlock as your group grows. Each tier increases your land claim limit and unlocks new features—Colonies and Countries gain access to personal plots where you can assign custom permissions to individual members.
How do I claim chunks?
Open the faction menu and select claim mode, then click on adjacent chunks you want to protect. Only members with the right rank can claim new territory, and you can only claim chunks that border your existing faction land.
Can I protect my base from griefing without declaring war?
Yes—claiming chunks automatically prevents non-members from breaking blocks, opening containers, or triggering explosions in your territory. You don't need to engage in warfare to use the land protection system.
How do wars and raids work?
Smaller factions can launch targeted raids on specific enemy chunks, while larger nations can declare full border wars. During conflict, attackers try to breach and capture enemy territory while defenders fight to hold their land and protect their capital.
Can I see faction borders on my map?
Yes, Sovereign Conquest integrates with popular map mods like Xaero's Maps, JourneyMap, and BlueMap to display faction territory and borders in real-time.
How do I invite players to my faction?
Open the faction menu, go to member management, and use the invite option to add other players by name. They'll receive an invitation they can accept or decline.
Can I make peace with an enemy faction?
Yes—you can form alliances with friendly groups or establish White Peace pacts with rivals to pause or end conflict. These diplomatic options are managed through the faction menu.
Does this mod work on multiplayer servers?
Sovereign Conquest is designed for multiplayer and works on servers, but the server admin must have the mod installed. All faction management, claims, and wars happen through the in-game menu without requiring extra plugins or claim tools.
