How do I craft the 
scanner?

How far can the scanner reach?
The base range depends on your configuration, but you can increase it by installing the Range module to extend how far your scanning wave travels.
Does the scanner work through Bedrock?
The scanner highlights targets through solid blocks and terrain, but bedrock acts as a natural boundary—you cannot scan below it.
