Safari Cobblemon FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I enter the Safari Zone for the first time?
Build a portal frame and light it with flint and steel, or simply type /safari enter to teleport in directly. You'll need to pay the entry fee from your in-game money before your session starts.
What happens to my timer if I log out while in the Safari Zone?
Your timer pauses automatically when you disconnect, so you won't lose time while you're offline. It resumes counting down when you log back in.
Can I battle creatures in the Safari Zone or do I have to catch them?
Regular battles are completely disabled in the Safari Zone—you can only catch creatures by throwing Safari Balls at them. This is what makes it a stress-free catching mini-game.
How do I get more time if my session is about to end?
Use the command /safari buy time to add more time to your current session, or buy a ticket with /safari buy ticket to use for a future visit.
What's the difference between buying balls and buying time?
Balls are consumable items you throw to catch creatures and need to replenish during your session, while time extends how long you can stay in the zone. You can buy balls in packs of 16, 32, or 64.
Can I break blocks or build in the Safari Zone?
No, block breaking and placing are completely blocked to keep the zone protected and looking perfect. You can only walk around, fish, and catch creatures.
Do shiny creatures appear in the Safari Zone?
Yes, shiny odds in the Safari Zone are synced with your regular world settings, so your chances of finding rare colored creatures match what you'd encounter elsewhere.
What if I want to leave the Safari Zone before my time runs out?
Type /safari leave to exit early and safely teleport back to where you started. You won't get a refund for unused time.
Can I fish for creatures in the Safari Zone?
Yes, fishing is one of the ways to find creatures in the zone, including special spawns you can only get this way. Check your session info with /safari info to see what's available.
How do I check how much time I have left in my session?
Use the command /safari info to see your current session details and remaining time at any point while you're in the zone.
