No, any standard fishing rod works. The mod doesn't add new fishing rods, so your existing rods will catch the new fish variants automatically.

Each of the 19 fish variants spawns only in certain biomes. Use the 'Identify Which Fish Spawn in Your Current Biome' guide to see what's available in your location, or check the mod's biome list to plan where to fish.

Cook any of the fish variants in a furnace, smoker, or campfire like you would regular fish. All cooked variants combine into a single common cooked item in your inventory, so you don't need to track different types.
