Refined Vista Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Do I need to restart my world to use this resource pack?
No, you can apply Refined Vista to an existing world at any time. Simply select it in your resource pack menu and it will take effect immediately in that world.
Why do some of my items look animated but others don't?
Refined Vista adds animations only to specific items like ores, ingots, golden foods, redstone components, and certain utility items. Basic materials like dirt or wood intentionally keep static textures to maintain the classic Minecraft feel.
Can I use this pack with other resource packs at the same time?
Yes, you can stack multiple packs in your resource pack list. Place Refined Vista above or below other packs depending on which textures you want to prioritize—packs higher in the list override those below.
The dark UI theme is too dark for me. Can I adjust it?
The dark UI is a core feature of this pack and cannot be adjusted through in-game settings. You would need to edit the pack files directly or use a different resource pack if you prefer brighter menus.
Do the upgraded tool designs change how tools actually work?
No, the redesigned tools are purely visual. All mining speeds, durability, and functionality remain exactly the same as vanilla—only the appearance changes.
Will this pack work on servers or only single-player?
Resource packs work on both single-player and servers. Your client-side pack will display the upgraded visuals regardless of whether you're playing alone or on a multiplayer server.
Why is my crosshair or armor bar looking different than the screenshots?
Make sure the resource pack is actually selected and ranked above any conflicting packs in your resource pack list. Try moving it to the top, then reload your world to see the changes take effect.
Does this pack affect performance or cause lag?
Refined Vista uses standard animated textures that have minimal performance impact on most systems. If you experience lag, it's likely due to other mods or settings rather than this pack alone.
Are the netherite tools really gold-trimmed or is that just the screenshot?
The netherite tools in Refined Vista feature gold-colored trims as part of their reworked design. This is consistent across all instances of netherite gear in the pack.
Can I use this pack with mods that add new tools or weapons?
Refined Vista only reskins vanilla items, so modded tools and weapons will keep their default textures unless the mod author creates compatibility patches. The vanilla tools you use will still display the upgraded designs.
