Each base crate type is designed for specific items: Armor and Weapon crates drop gear with random durability, Enchantment crates give enchanted books, Food and Arrow crates drop stacks of supplies, and Special crates hold rare items like beacons or boss drops. The mod automatically sorts items from the base game and other mods into the correct crate type.

Yes, you can find hidden cases by brushing suspicious sand in desert pyramids using archaeology mechanics. You can also buy crates directly from the Case Trader villager by trading emeralds, or adjust globalSpawnMultiplier in the config to increase how often cases appear naturally.
How do I turn off the default crates and only use custom ones?
Set disableStandardCrates to true in your configuration file. This removes all base crate types from the world and the
Casing Station menu, leaving only the custom crates you've created.

Items in loot crates have rarity levels ranging from common to legendary, which affects how often they drop when you open a case. If showRarityInTooltip is enabled, you'll see the rarity color when you hover over items in your inventory.
Can I control how much armor and weapons degrade when I get them from crates?
By default, armor and weapons drop with random durability levels. Set disableRandomDurability to true in the config if you want all gear to drop at full health instead.
How do I change the price of crates from the Case Trader villager?
Edit the defaultEmeraldCost value in your configuration file to set how many emeralds the trader charges for each crate.
Will this mod work with other mods that add items?
Yes, the mod automatically sorts items from other mods into the appropriate base crate types. Items are categorized by their type, so modded armor goes into Armor crates, modded weapons into Weapon crates, and so on.
