Customize Purple Colors to Match Your Preference
Editing the Resource Pack Files
The Purplefied GUI Resource Pack uses standard Minecraft texture files that you can modify to adjust the shade and intensity of purple throughout your interface.
1. Locate your resource pack folder in .minecraft/resourcepacks/
2. Open the pack and navigate to assets/minecraft/textures/gui/
3. Identify texture files for buttons, bars, and icons (typically PNG files)
4. Open these files in an image editor like GIMP or Photoshop
5. Adjust the hue, saturation, and brightness sliders to create your preferred purple tone
6. Save changes and reload the resource pack in-game via Settings > Resource Packs
Testing Your Changes
After editing, open your inventory and pause menu to preview the new colors immediately. If you're unhappy with the result, undo your changes and try different saturation levels—lower saturation creates muted purples, while higher saturation produces vibrant, bold purples. Keep backups of original files before experimenting.
