Why do some of my GUI elements still look vanilla after installing Purplefied?
Resource packs load in a specific order, and other packs or mods may be overriding Purplefied's textures. Check your resource pack list in Settings and make sure Purplefied is positioned above any conflicting packs, or disable competing GUI packs entirely.
Can I use Purplefied GUI with other resource packs at the same time?
Yes, but pack order matters. Place Purplefied above packs that modify terrain or mobs if you want to keep those changes, or below if you want those packs to override the purple GUI elements. Test different arrangements to find what works best for your setup.
Does Purplefied work with modded GUIs and custom menus?
Purplefied applies to most standard Minecraft GUI elements, but heavily modded menus may not be affected if they use custom textures or rendering. You can extend Purplefied's coverage by following the guide on applying it to modded screens, though some mods may require their own resource pack support.
The purple is too dark/bright for me. Can I adjust the colors?
Yes—extract the resource pack, locate the texture files for GUI elements, and edit them in an image editor to use your preferred shade of purple. Repackage the folder and reload Minecraft to see your changes.
Is Purplefied causing lag or performance issues?
Resource packs rarely cause performance problems since they only change visuals, not game logic. If you experience lag, check that your graphics settings are optimized and that you're not running too many heavy mods or packs simultaneously.
Why is my text hard to read with the purple background?
Purple backgrounds can reduce contrast with certain text colors. Refer to the readability guide to adjust text colors or background opacity, or consider using a lighter or darker shade of purple that contrasts better with your font.
Does Purplefied change the actual game mechanics or just visuals?
Purplefied is purely visual—it only reskins GUI elements like buttons, bars, and icons. It does not alter gameplay, item stats, recipes, or any mechanical behavior.
Will Purplefied work on servers or in multiplayer?
Yes, resource packs are client-side only, so you can use Purplefied on any server without affecting other players or requiring server-side installation.
How do I layer Purplefied with a texture pack for blocks and mobs?
In your resource packs menu, position Purplefied above your block/mob texture pack if you want Purplefied's GUI to take priority, or below if you want the other pack's GUI elements to show through. You can also merge packs manually by combining their folders if they don't conflict.
Some buttons or icons in my inventory look cut off or misaligned. What's wrong?
This usually happens when Purplefied conflicts with another mod or pack that changes GUI scale or positioning. Try disabling other GUI-modifying packs, or check if a mod's custom GUI isn't compatible with the purple textures by reviewing the modded menu compatibility guide.
