Pouch Paper FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I craft a pouch or sack?
You'll need paper and plant-based materials like seeds, crops, or leaves depending on which container you want to make. Check the crafting recipes section on the wiki for exact ingredient combinations for each pouch and sack type.
Can I store any item in these pouches or do they only work with specific things?
Each pouch, sack, and pack is designed for specific items—seed pouches hold seeds, crop sacks hold harvested crops, feather packs hold feathers, and so on. Trying to put the wrong item type into a container won't work.
What's the point of the burnt paper trap and how do I make one?
Burnt paper blocks attract creepers from far away and repel bees, making them useful for controlling mob behavior around your farm or base. Set a paper block on fire and it will transform into the special trap block.
Do burnt paper traps damage my builds or hurt me?
Burnt paper blocks themselves don't explode—they just attract creepers and scare bees. The creepers that gather around them can still explode, so place traps strategically away from structures you want to protect.
How do I take items out of a pouch without taking everything?
Hold Sneak (default Shift) and right-click the container to remove just one item at a time. Right-click without sneaking takes out a full stack.
Can I move a pouch after I've filled it with items?
Yes, you can break the block with any tool or your hand and it will drop all the stored items on the ground, then you can pick up the empty container and place it elsewhere.
Why do my storage sacks look rotated or tilted when I place them?
The mod intentionally rotates large storage packs slightly when placed so they look more like natural objects on the ground rather than perfectly aligned blocks. This is a visual feature and doesn't affect how they work.
Do paper blocks fall like sand?
Yes, paper blocks are affected by gravity and will fall until they hit the ground, where they break and turn back into regular paper items.
Can I pick up a burnt paper trap block?
No, burnt paper blocks shatter instantly if you try to step on them or interact with them, so they can't be collected or moved once created.
Will this mod cause lag if I place a lot of pouches and sacks?
Since pouches and sacks are rendered as physical blocks rather than hidden inventory items, performance impact is minimal, but placing hundreds of containers in one area may affect chunk loading like any other blocks would.
