Pouch Paper FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I craft a seed pouch?
Check your crafting recipes in-game using the mod's recipe book or JEI/NEI. Seed pouches are crafted from basic materials and can hold up to 60 seeds for wheat, beetroot, melon, pumpkin, and cocoa beans once placed on the ground.
Can I put any item in a pouch or do they have specific slots?
Each container type is designed for specific items—seed pouches hold seeds, crop sacks hold harvested crops like potatoes and carrots, and feather/leaf packs hold their respective materials. Trying to put the wrong item type in a container won't work.
How do I take items out of a pouch without opening a menu?
Right-click the pouch to take out a full stack of items, or hold Sneak (Shift) and right-click to take out just one item at a time. This keeps everything happening in the world without opening any inventory screens.
What happens if I break a pouch with my pickaxe?
Breaking a pouch with your hand or any tool will instantly drop all the items stored inside it, so you can pick everything up at once and move the container elsewhere.
How far away do creepers come to burnt paper blocks?
Burnt paper blocks attract creepers from a significant distance, making them useful for setting up traps or defense systems around your base or farm areas.
Do bees avoid burnt paper or just fly away from it?
Bees actively fly away from burnt paper blocks because they dislike the smell, so placing burnt paper near your bee farm will cause them to leave the area.
Can I walk on burnt paper without it breaking?
No—burnt paper breaks instantly if a player steps on it, so it's not a safe walking surface and will disappear if you try to cross it.
What do paper blocks do when they fall?
Paper blocks fall like sand and break into paper pieces when they hit the ground, making them useful for decorative builds or as a way to generate paper items.
Do feather and leaf packs show how full they are?
Yes, feather packs and dry leaf packs change their appearance based on how full they are, giving you a visual indicator of storage without needing to click on them.
Can I rotate pouches and sacks when I place them?
Pouches and sacks rotate slightly when placed to look naturally dropped, but you cannot manually control their rotation—they're placed as decorative blocks that fit naturally into your farm or storage area.
