How to Rotate and Reposition Items You Have Already Placed
Rotating a Placed Item
Once an item is on a block, you are not stuck with its default orientation.
1. Aim your crosshair at the placed item.
2. Hold Shift and Right-Click.
3. The item rotates. Repeat the Shift + Right-Click to keep turning it until it faces the direction you want.
This works for wall-mounted items, floor items, and ceiling items alike, so you can hang a picture sideways, angle a tool, or flip a decoration to match the room.
Moving an Item Somewhere Else
Plonk does not have a drag-to-move action. To relocate a placed item:
1. Left-Click the item to break it and retrieve it into your inventory.
2. Aim at the new block face where you want it.
3. Hold the item and press the placement key (default P) to place it again.
4. Use Shift + Right-Click to rotate it to the correct angle at the new spot.
If you are rearranging a whole cluster, remove items one at a time with Left-Click so you keep track of what you have picked up, then rebuild the group on the new face. Because a held stack places as a single visual object, split stacks before rebuilding if you want each piece to show separately.
