How to Place Multiple Items at Once (Multi-Item Placement)
Stack Placement Behavior
When you hold a stack of items and press the placement key, the whole stack is placed as a single visual object rather than one item at a time. This is useful for filling a shelf or wall quickly, but it means you cannot place individual copies one by one from the same stack unless you split it first.
To place a single item instead of the whole stack, split the stack in your inventory (right-click to take one) and hold only the amount you want to display.
Arranging Items Together
Placed items appear smaller than their inventory icons so several can sit side by side on the same surface. Place your first item, then aim at an adjacent spot on the same face and place the next one. Repeat to build up a row, cluster, or grid of decorations.
Rotating for a Natural Look
Use Shift + Right-Click on a placed item to rotate it. Rotating each item slightly differently makes grouped decorations look hand-arranged instead of mechanically aligned. Combine rotation with varied placement positions to avoid a flat, repetitive appearance on walls and shelves.
