Pixel Consistency Resource Pack FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

Do I need any other mods for this to work?
Yes, you need Entity Texture Features and Entity Model Features installed for the custom mob and entity models to load correctly. Without these mods, the resource pack will still apply textures but won't display the fixed models.
Why do some mobs still look wrong after installing the pack?
Make sure Entity Texture Features and Entity Model Features are both installed and enabled. Also check that the resource pack is positioned above any conflicting packs in your resource pack list, as load order matters.
Does this pack work with other resource packs?
It can work alongside other packs, but place Pixel Consistency higher in your resource pack list so its fixes take priority. Packs that also modify entity models or textures may conflict and cause inconsistencies.
Will this affect my world's performance?
No, this is a resource pack that only changes visuals—it doesn't add new blocks, mobs, or mechanics. Performance impact is minimal and comes only from loading additional model files.
How do baby animals look different now?
Instead of just shrinking the adult model, baby animals now have properly scaled models with proportions that match a baby's appearance. This makes them look distinct and intentional rather than tiny copies.
What exactly gets fixed with armor?
The pack resizes armor layers so they fit correctly on both players and baby mobs, and adjusts armor trims to maintain a uniform appearance across all armor sets.
Do banners and signs look completely different?
They're updated to align with the standard pixel grid so they match the rest of your world's visual style, but they're still recognizable—just cleaner and more consistent.
Can I use this on a multiplayer server?
Yes, resource packs are client-side only, so you can use this on any server without the server needing to install it. Other players won't see your changes unless they also install the pack.
What happens to the mobs spinning inside spawner blocks?
The pack fixes their pixel sizes so they match the scale of mobs in the actual world, eliminating the visual disconnect between the tiny preview and the full-sized mob that spawns.
Will this pack update for new Minecraft versions?
Check the mod's official download page for version compatibility—the pack needs updates when Minecraft adds new mobs, blocks, or changes existing models.
