Use the Overlay to Visualize Lag in Real-Time

Enabling the Overlay

After completing a profile and viewing results, click the Overlay button in the profiler GUI. This activates in-game visualization that highlights performance-impacting entities and blocks directly in your world.

What the Overlay Shows

Laggy entities, blocks, and chunks are marked visually so you can immediately see which areas or mobs are dragging down your TPS without needing to check windows.

Customizing Overlay Settings

Open the mod settings to adjust:

• Font Size: Make labels larger or smaller for readability
• Maximum Distance: Set how far away from you the overlay will track and display entities or blocks
• Impact Filter: Hide minimal impacts to focus only on significant lag sources

These adjustments help you concentrate on the most important performance problems and reduce visual clutter while profiling.
