Decide on a Variant Crystal theme that matches your base's aesthetic. Consider your biome, building materials, and overall style. A Jungle variant works naturally in a forest; Brass suits industrial or metallic bases; Quartz complements crystalline or magical builds.

Construct and Customize

1. Build your Stargate using standard Stargate Journey blocks

2. Place your DHD in front of the gate

3. Apply your chosen Variant Crystal to the gate

4. The DHD will visually complement your selected theme

5. Build surrounding structures using materials that match—wood for Forest, stone for Quartz, metal blocks for Brass

Enhance the Atmosphere

Use lighting to highlight your gate's new colors. The glowing event horizon and chevrons will look stunning with strategic lighting. Add decorative blocks, pathways, and architectural details around your gate room to create an immersive space.

Multiple Gates

You can build several gates with different variants throughout your world. Each can have its own themed room, creating distinct visual zones and making navigation more intuitive for players visiting your base.
