Decide what theme or block palette fits your build. The mod works with almost all vanilla blocks, so you can match trapdoors to your existing structures—wood types, stone variants, ores, concrete, or even unusual blocks.
Craft Matching Trapdoors
Create multiple trapdoor variants by combining your 
Trapdoor Frame with different blocks:
- For a wooden cabin: oak, spruce, and birch trapdoors
- For a castle: stone, deepslate, and blackstone trapdoors
- For a fantasy build: amethyst, copper, and nether brick trapdoors
Layer and Position
Trapdoors can be placed on multiple faces of blocks, allowing you to create:
- Decorative wall patterns
- Sloped roofing effects
- Detailed door frames and shutters
- Intricate wall textures
Combine with Other Blocks
Mix trapdoors with their parent blocks and complementary materials for visual depth. A 
stone trapdoor wall looks richer when interspersed with regular stone blocks, stairs, and slabs. Experiment with open and closed positions to create dynamic, layered designs.
