How do I put a banner on a mob?
Hold a banner and right-click on a pig, strider, boat, or villager to equip it. For horses, donkeys, mules, and llamas, use their inventory slot instead. Happy ghasts will spawn with banners naturally in some cases.
Can I wear a banner as a cape on my player?
Yes. If you have Trinkets mod installed, banners can be equipped in the cape slot. Without Trinkets, you can still equip banners as hats or combine them with chestplates using the mod's crafting system.
How do I remove a banner from a mob?
Use shears on the mob to remove the banner. This works for pigs, striders, boats, and villagers.
What are Banner Threads and how do I use them?
Banner Threads increase the maximum layer limit for banners, allowing more complex designs. Combine Banner Threads with a banner in a crafting interface to upgrade it.
Can I hang banners under blocks?
Yes. Place a banner on the underside of a block by right-clicking underneath it, similar to how you'd place a lantern or chain below a block.
Why does my banner look wrong in a fox's mouth?
This mod includes a fix for banner positioning when held by foxes, so they should display correctly now.
Can I equip both a helmet and a banner at the same time?
Yes, if you have a Slot Mod installed. You can combine a helmet or chestplate with a banner to wear both simultaneously.
Does this mod work with Entity Banners Mod or Glow Banners Mod?
No. Entity Banners Mod causes weird rendering bugs, and Glow Banners Mod prevents banners from glowing properly. Use one mod or the other, not both.
How do I access the mod's settings?
Open ModMenu and look for More Banner Features Mod in the list to access the config menu.
Do piglins in bastion remnants have banners?
Yes. Piglins naturally spawn carrying their own banners as part of this mod's features.
