How do I add friends in MineTogether Mod?
Open your team menu and send an invite to the player you want to add; they need to accept it before they join your group. You can only invite players who are already in the same world or server as you.
How do I create a team in minetogether?
Open the team screen from the mod's menu key or button and choose the option to create a new team. Once it exists, you become the owner and can start inviting others.

Yes, everyone who wants to be on a team needs the mod installed on their side. Players without it cannot join or interact with the team system.
