Mineral Backpacks FAQ

Gather the raw materials for your chosen tier (leather, coal, copper, iron, gold, emerald, diamond, or netherite) and arrange them in the crafting table according to the recipe. Once crafted, place the backpack in your hand or hotbar and right-click to open it and start storing items.

Each tier holds a different number of item stacks, with rarer materials providing more storage space. Leather and coal bags offer basic extra space for early mining, while diamond and netherite bags hold significantly more, and the special mineral bag provides the largest capacity of all.

You cannot directly upgrade a backpack, but you can craft a new higher-tier backpack once you've gathered the required materials and simply use that instead. Your old backpack will remain in your inventory as a separate item.
