How to Recruit and Spawn Your First Companion

Finding Companions in the World

Companions spawn naturally in specific biomes. Each amigo has preferred locations:

• Cocogoat appears in Meadows, Stony Peaks, Windswept Hills, and Cherry Groves
• Wavelyn wanders Plains, Birch Forests, and Cherry Groves
• Claymore roams Forests, Taigas, and Birch Forests
• Pollypounce searches ocean and water biomes as a sea-pirate
• Shybroom can be found in various locations, especially near player bases

Recruiting Your Amigo

Once you locate a companion, approach them and interact (right-click). They will join your party and begin following you. Your new companion will automatically engage hostile mobs and help protect you during exploration and combat.

Each companion has a unique fighting style—ranged, melee, or support—so choose based on your playstyle. You can recruit multiple companions to build a full team, and they'll coordinate their attacks against threats.
