The Machine Crafting Table

Mechanization has its own crafting interface separate from vanilla crafting. Build a Machine Crafting Table (it resembles an anvil) using a vanilla crafting table, then place it in your world.

How It Differs from Normal Crafting

The key advantage: items remain inside the GUI when you close it. This means you can step away mid-craft, gather more materials, and return without losing your work. This is especially helpful for complex multi-step recipes.

Finding Recipes

With over 110 items and 45 machines, manually memorizing recipes is impractical. Install Just Enough Items (JEI) to browse all available recipes directly in-game. Open JEI's recipe viewer while looking at the Machine Crafting Table to see exactly what ingredients you need and in what arrangement.

Workflow Tip

Keep your Machine Crafting Table near your storage and power grid for efficient production. Since items persist in the GUI, you can queue multiple crafts and let them complete while you gather resources elsewhere.
