  1. Locate the Config Files

  3. Apply Changes In-Game Where Offered

LLibrary itself has little to configure, but the mods built on it often expose settings through LLibrary's config system. Here is how to find and change them.

Locate the Config Files

Open your game's config folder. Mods using LLibrary typically write their own config files there, named after the mod rather than after LLibrary. Look for files matching the dependent mods you installed.

Edit Settings Safely

Open the relevant file in a plain text editor. LLibrary-based configs commonly use a readable format with comments explaining each option. Change only the values you understand, keep the original formatting, and save. Close the game before editing so your changes are not overwritten on exit.

Apply Changes In-Game Where Offered

Some dependent mods provide an in-game config screen, often reachable from the mod list. This is safer than hand-editing because it validates your input. Use it when available, and fall back to the file only for options the screen does not expose. After any change, restart the game and verify the mod still behaves correctly. If something breaks, restore the previous file from a backup.
