How to Collect Leaf Drops (Saplings, Sticks, Apples) When Leaves Vanish Instantly

A common worry with instant leaf removal is that you will lose saplings, sticks, and other leaf drops. In practice the mod removes the leaves but still processes their drops, so you just need to know where to look.

Where the Drops Go

When the last log breaks, the leaves are cleared and their drops are spawned at the leaf positions. Because the leaves disappear immediately rather than decaying over time, all the drops appear at once instead of trickling in. Walk through the area under where the canopy was and pick everything up.

Making Sure You Get Everything

• Chop the tree from the bottom up and break the final log last, so the whole canopy is still intact when the trigger fires.
• Stand close to the trunk before the final break; drops spawn around the former leaf blocks and can scatter.
• If you use a mod or enchantment that auto-collects drops, it will catch the leaf drops too, since they are normal item entities.

If you notice missing saplings, check whether your config has any drop-related toggles disabled, and confirm the tree was fully chopped (no floating logs left behind).
