Understanding Attack Directions

Kingdomcome Combat replaces simple clicking with directional melee combat. Instead of swinging randomly, your attacks now come from specific angles—overhead, horizontal, and thrust motions. Pay attention to the direction you're facing and the enemy's stance to land effective hits.

Reading Enemy Movements

Humanoid mobs now use realistic combat AI. Watch for:

• Blocking patterns: Enemies will raise their guard in response to your attacks
• Attack telegraphs: Mobs telegraph their strikes before committing, giving you time to react
• Positioning: Enemies circle and reposition rather than rushing blindly

Executing Directional Attacks

1. Equip a melee weapon (sword, axe, hammer, or pickaxe)

2. Approach an enemy and observe their stance

3. Attack from different angles—the mod registers your approach direction

4. Time your strikes to exploit gaps in their defense

5. Chain attacks together to build momentum and stamina efficiency

Practice against weaker mobs first to learn attack patterns before facing tougher opponents.
