How to Turn On Trio Shader in Your Game
Trio Shader is a shader pack, not a resource pack. It only works through a shader loader such as Iris or OptiFine. If the shader options are missing from your video settings, install a loader first.
Put the pack in the right folder
1. Launch Minecraft with your shader loader active.
2. Go to Options > Video Settings and open the shader menu. Iris calls it Shader Packs and OptiFine calls it Shaders.
3. Click the button that opens the shader pack folder. This opens the shaderpacks folder inside your game directory.
4. Drop the Trio Shader file into that folder. Leave it zipped. Do not put it in the resourcepacks folder.
Select and apply it
1. Go back to the game window. The shader list should refresh and show Trio Shader. If it doesn't, close and reopen the menu.
2. Click Trio Shader to select it.
3. Press Apply or Done. The screen may pause briefly while the shader loads.
4. Join a world, or go back to the one you're in.
To switch back to normal visuals, return to the same menu and pick the off option. Iris labels it as shaders disabled and OptiFine labels it OFF. Your worlds are not changed by turning the shader on or off. Trio Shader only changes how the game is drawn on your screen.
