Diagnose the Cause

If your hotbar, hearts, or hunger bar disappear completely instead of turning transparent, the pack is usually conflicting with another pack or a mod, or the textures failed to load. A truly transparent element should still show its outlines and icons, just without the solid backing.

Troubleshooting Steps

1. Disable every other resource pack and leave only this one enabled, then check the HUD. If it returns, re-enable packs one at a time to find the culprit.

2. Check whether a HUD mod is drawing its own overlay on top. Mods that add extra bars or move the hotbar can hide the vanilla elements this pack reskins.

3. Lower your GUI scale in Video Settings. At very small scales, thin transparent outlines can become nearly invisible on high-resolution displays.

4. Toggle the pack off and on again from the Resource Packs screen to force a texture reload.

5. If elements are still missing, verify the pack is compatible with your game version, since GUI texture paths changed across major updates.

When It Is Working Correctly

You should still see slot borders, item icons, and bar outlines, just with the world visible behind them. If you see nothing at all, it is a conflict or load failure, not the intended transparent effect.
