Locate Animation Settings

Fresh Animations stores its configuration in your resource pack folder. Navigate to the pack's internal files and look for animation or configuration files that control mob movement timing and keyframe data.

Modify Animation Parameters

Animation speed is typically controlled through values in animation JSON files. Increasing these values makes movements faster; decreasing them makes animations slower and more deliberate. Start with small adjustments (5-10% changes) to avoid jarring results.

Reload and Test

After editing, reload your resource packs in-game using F3 + T (or the resource pack menu). Observe mobs in different scenarios—idle, walking, attacking—to ensure the new speed feels natural across all animations.

Balance Aesthetics

Remember that Programmer Art's blocky style may feel better with slightly slower, more exaggerated animations than modern packs. Experiment to find the speed that complements the retro texture aesthetic without feeling sluggish.
