Verify Resource Pack is Active

First, confirm the Modern Dark UI Resource Pack is enabled in your resource pack list. Open the resource packs menu and check that it appears in the "Selected" column, not the "Available" list. If missing, re-add it.

Check Mod Compatibility

Some mods add custom screens that the resource pack doesn't cover. The Modern Dark UI applies to vanilla containers—chests, crafting tables, brewing stands, beacons, and villager trades. If a third-party mod adds its own interface, it may not receive the dark theme automatically.

Load Order Matters

If you're using multiple resource packs, ensure Modern Dark UI is positioned correctly in your load order. Packs loaded after it may override its textures. Reorder so Modern Dark UI appears near the top of your selected packs.

Reload Resources

Press F3 + T to reload all textures and JSON files. Sometimes screens don't update until resources refresh. Close and reopen the affected screen to see changes take effect.
