Why Models Break

When you run Mobs Refreshed and Fresh Animations together without this resource pack, creature models often display incorrectly—textures misalign, limbs disappear, or animations stutter. This happens because the two packs use different model formats that conflict.

How to Fix It

1. Ensure both Mobs Refreshed and Fresh Animations are installed in your resource packs folder

2. Load this compatibility pack after both packs in your resource pack list (drag it below them in the menu)

3. Restart your world or reload resources using F3 + T

4. Spawn mobs like Creepers, Skeletons, or Piglins to verify models render correctly

Using Entity Model Features

For best results, use Entity Model Features instead of Optifine. This mod provides better support for the custom animations this pack applies. If you're using Optifine, some advanced animations may not display smoothly.

Testing

Visit a location with multiple mob types—a trial chamber works well. Look for smooth walking cycles, proper idle poses, and correct texture placement. If any mob still looks broken, check your pack load order and ensure all three packs are present.
