Fine-Tune How Items Appear in Your Hand

If the 3D models feel too large, too small, or positioned awkwardly on your screen, you can adjust their placement and size.

Using Respackopts Mod

1. Install the Respackopts mod alongside MLC Better Gear

2. Open the Respackopts configuration (usually accessible from the mods menu or config folder)

3. Look for MLC Better Gear settings related to item offsets and screen space

4. Adjust the following values as needed:

• X and Y offsets — move the item left/right and up/down on your screen
• Scale or zoom — make the item model larger or smaller
• Rotation — change the angle at which the item is held

5. Test your changes by holding different tools in-game

6. Save and reload your world to apply the settings

Tips

• Start with small adjustments — large changes can make items look unnatural
• Different tool types may need different offsets for optimal viewing
• If you don't use Respackopts, the default positioning should work for most players
