What Fresh Animations Changes

This resource pack replaces vanilla horse movement with new, detailed animation cycles. Horses now have:

  • Smoother walking and trotting animations
  • More expressive running and galloping sequences
  • Natural idle poses and head movements
  • Realistic weight shifts during turns

The stylized armor from Horse Armor & Stuff is rigged to these new skeletons, so it moves in sync with every animation frame.

Why This Matters for Armor

Vanilla horse armor often clips or stretches during movement because it's built for the default skeleton. This pack's custom models fit the new animation bones, so armor stays in place and deforms naturally as the horse moves. You'll notice armor doesn't pop in and out or rotate incorrectly during gallops.

Performance Consideration

More detailed animations use slightly more resources. On lower-end systems, you may see minor frame rate changes, especially with multiple armored horses visible at once. This is normal and usually unnoticeable unless you're running very tight performance margins.
