Verifying the Resource Pack is Active
If you're not seeing the wooden tree character design:
1. Open your resource packs menu (Options → Resource Packs)
2. Check that the Groot Totem pack appears in the "Active" section on the right
3. If it's in the inactive list on the left, click it to move it to active
4. Close the menu and return to your world
Troubleshooting Display Issues
If the totem still appears vanilla:
- Ensure the resource pack is positioned above any conflicting packs in the active list
- Reload your world or restart Minecraft
- Verify you're holding an actual Totem of Undying (not a similar item)
- Check that your Minecraft version matches the pack's compatibility
The resource pack should automatically apply to all Totems of Undying once activated. If problems persist, try moving the pack to the top of your active resource pack list to ensure it takes priority over other visual modifications.
