Verify Mod Requirements

The glowing trim effect depends on OptiFine or a compatible custom texture mod. Without it, your renamed items won't display the bright, luminous outlines.

1. Check that OptiFine (or an equivalent mod) is installed and enabled

2. Launch Minecraft and verify the mod appears in your mods list

3. Restart your game after installing or updating OptiFine

Check Your Rename Syntax

The color code must be entered exactly as the resource pack expects it. Verify you're using the correct spelling:

  • Base colors: Amethyst, Cherry, Diamond, Gold, and others from the 13-color palette
  • Netherite colors: Gilded Blackstone, Magma, Sculk
  • Patterns: Bolt, Eye, Rib, Tide (when applicable)

Capitalization matters—use the exact case shown in the pack documentation.

Resource Pack Activation

Ensure the Glowing Trim Ultimate Resource Pack is actually loaded in your world. Check your resource pack settings and confirm it appears in the active list, positioned above any conflicting packs.
