Activating Trail Rendering

Once the resource pack is installed and active in your resource pack menu, sword trail effects will automatically display during combat animations. The pack modifies action data in EpicFight-Extra, so no additional configuration is needed to see the enhanced blade lights.

Adjusting Visual Intensity

If trails appear too bright or too subtle for your setup:

  • Check your game's Brightness and Contrast settings, as these affect how the glowing effects render
  • Verify your Particles setting is not set to "Minimal" — trails may be suppressed at that level
  • Ensure Graphics is set to Fancy rather than Fast, as this enables advanced lighting effects
  • If using a shader pack alongside this resource pack, some shaders may override or dim the trail colors

Verifying the Pack is Working

Perform a sword attack in combat. You should see bright, layered light trails following your weapon swing. If trails don't appear, confirm that EpicFight, EpicFight-Extra, and EpicFight-Nightfall are all installed and enabled.
