Some of the container menus in this pack include animations for extra flair. If you expected movement and see none, a few common causes are worth checking before assuming the pack is broken.

Why an animation might not show

  • Another pack is overriding it. A higher-priority resource pack can replace the animated texture with a static one. Move Colourful Containers Dark Mode above it in the Resource Packs list.
  • The screen is not one of the animated ones. Not every menu animates — only some blocks feature animations. Open a few different containers to see which ones move.
  • Textures have not reloaded. After changing pack order, press F3 + T to reload resources without restarting.

Getting the best view of the animation

Open the relevant container and leave it open for a moment. Animations typically loop, so watch through a full cycle. If you use a GUI scale that crops the window, try a smaller scale in Options > Video Settings so the full animated area is visible.

If it still will not animate

Disable other GUI-affecting packs one at a time to isolate the conflict, then re-enable them below this pack.
