What Gets the Glow Treatment

Bare Bones PBR X128 includes emission maps that make certain blocks glow when you use a compatible shader pack. Fire on torches, lanterns, and other light sources will emit light, while non-glowing parts (like wooden torch sticks) stay dark and realistic.

Activating Shader Support

1. Install a shader pack that supports PBR and emission maps (check shader documentation for compatibility)

2. Load your world with both the shader and Bare Bones PBR X128 active

3. Glowing effects should activate automatically—no additional configuration needed

4. Adjust shader settings if effects appear too bright or too dim

Troubleshooting Glow

If blocks don't glow, verify your shader pack supports emission/glow maps. Some older shaders won't recognize these effects. Try a different shader or check shader settings for "PBR" or "emission" toggles. Without shaders enabled, the pack still works but glow effects won't display.
